Rogue Climate Talent Monthly Meeting: Awake a Dream from Standing Rock

Learn more at the September Rogue Climate Talent meeting where there will be a screening of AWAKE: A DREAM FROM STANDING ROCK, followed by a discussion of the film and the local fight to stop the Pacific Connector Pipeline. AWAKE captures the story of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribes struggle to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota which threatens the drinking water of 18 million people and Indigenous sovereignty. 

The film is a collaboration between Indigenous filmmakers, Director Myron Dewey, Executive Producer Doug Good Feather and environmental Oscar Nominated filmmakers Josh Fox and James Spione.The film will be shown at the Talent Community Center from 6pm - 8pm on Thursday, September 14 from 6pm - 8pm.   Find out more about the film at
