The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is asking for public comments regarding impacts of the proposed Jordan Cove / Pacific Connector export terminal and pipeline on rivers and streams before they issue a water quality certification. They will be holding an important public information meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22nd at North Medford High School.
If this water quality certification is denied, the Jordan Cove project is dead in the water. Now is the time to let our state agency know that we value a faster transition to cleaner energy and clean water more than we value the profits of a Canadian company.
Let't pack the house like we did for the FERC hearing!
