Peoples Climate March - Oregon

On September 21st, thousands of communities around the country are coming together for what is expected to be the largest day of climate action in history. As world leaders gather in New York City, communities are gathering to urge world leaders to take action on climate change and ensure a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities. Can you join us for the Peoples Climate March in Portland at 3:00pm to show support for a faster transition to cleaner energy?

Check out the website for the Peoples Climate March in NYC HERE and the Oregon Peoples Climate March HERE
There are also events occurring in Eugene, Bend, and Salem.

Gathering & music begins at 3pm at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park (park bowl just south of Hawthorne bridge @ SW Naito Parkway & SW Madison). Rally will begin shortly after gathering, followed by the march. The event ends at the park bowl at 6pm.

In case the march is HUGE, we have scoped out a meeting place we can gather and find each other.  We will meet in Portland at the corner of TAYLOR and NAITO at 2:30 and then walk over to Waterfront Park. It is three blocks north of the march, in-between the Hawthorn and Morrison bridges.

Send us an email at if you would like a ride from Southern Oregon to the march, or call us at 541-840-1065. We have rides heading up Saturday night and Sunday morning!
