No Pipeline Statewide Week of Action: Gov Brown, Shut it Down!

Oregonians are uniting for a statewide week of action to ask Governor Kate Brown to take stand against the Pacific Connector Pipeline and Jordan Cove LNG Export Terminal while she joins world leaders in Germany for the United Nations Climate Talks (COP).
Even though Governor Brown is going to Germany to talk about her commitment to climate, she still has not come out against Jordan Cove which would be the largest source of climate pollution in the state.

Standing up to Jordan Cove will determine whether or not Governor Brown is the climate champion our state needs. Despite the new federal administration, we can stop this pipeline again if Governor Brown and her state agencies deny vital permits that Pembina needs to start building.

Between Monday, November 13 and Friday, November 17 there are three easy ways you can ask Governor Brown to stand up to the fracked gas project in Oregon.
1) Attend an event
While Governor Brown is at the Climate Talks, events about stopping this project will be hosted from Klamath Falls to Portland. Check out the event schedule at the bottom of this page.
2) Leave a message for Governor Brown
On Wednesday, call Governor Brown and leave her leave a message asking her to stop the fracked gas project in Oregon. Here’s a script with example talking points and a form for you to track your call.
3) Post on social media
Post a photo from your favorite place impacted by the pipeline or even a selfie on social media and tag Governor Brown (@OregonGovBrown) to ask her to shut down Jordan Cove and the Pacific Connector Pipeline. Use the hashtags #GovBrownShutItDown#noPCPL#stopJordanCove and #noLNG
