This year Jordan Cove is already a TOP election issue, so the pipeline will likely come up during this debate.
Oregon's Governor and state agencies have the authority to deny permits to stop the proposed Pacific Connector fracked gas pipeline and Jordan Cove LNG export terminal.
Will you join us on Thursday for a rally outside of the debate to help show that communities in southern Oregon stand united against Jordan Cove? Check out the event on facebook HERE and RSVP online HERE.
No LNG Flash Rally at the Governor's Debate
When: Thursday, October 4, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Where: Meet at Vogel Plaza (15 S Central Ave, Medford), at 6:15 we’ll march a few blocks to the KOBI TV Station (124 S Fir St.)
This summer, our communities submitted tens of thousands of comments opposing Jordan Cove, participated in an exchange between communities impacted by the gas industry in Colorado and Oregon, called out Jordan Cove for meddling in our elections, and joined the largest climate march the West Coast has ever seen.
We must continue to demand that our leaders stand up for Oregon and deny this project for good. This fall, there are many ways you can help build the movement to stop Jordan Cove. In addition to attending the rally on Thursday, you can sign-up to join Rogue Climate for upcoming volunteer activities by filling out this form.
See you on Thursday!
