We are a group of student activists from the city of Ashland, Oregon working to benefit our community and protect the future of the earth by addressing the global problem of climate change.

CURRENT PROJECTS  

Ashland Climate Ordinance -

A youth-led campaign, supported by Rogue Climate and Our Children's Trust, focused on making the Ashland Climate and Energy Action Plan a legally binding, scientifically grounded, equitable climate ordinance.  

UPDATES 

Students draft climate ordinance that is approved by the city of Ashland

• On Tuesday, June 7th six members of Ashland Youth Climate Action testified at the City Council meeting to show their support for the Climate Recovery Ordinance that would legally bind the city to its climate pollution goals.

• Isaac informed the public about Ashland Youth Climate Action's projects on stage with environmental activists Josh Fox and Tim DeChristopher on May 15th.

• Ashland Youth Climate Action held a Campaign Strategy Session to launch the Climate Recovery Ordinance Campaign in April!
