Will you join us in Salem on November 14th for a march and rally with other impacted communities from across Oregon and Northern California to let the Governor and our state agencies know, enough is enough, it is time to deny state permits.
Carpools will leave Medford and Ashland at 8am, and return by 10pm. RSVP, and we will follow up with more information.
If you can’t make it, or even if you can, will you help make a fews calls on Monday, Wednesday or Thursdaybetween 5pm and 7pm to recruit more folks to the action? Email Hannah@RogueClimate.org.
Enough is Enough: No LNG Pipeline
Monday, November 14
900 Court St. North East Salem
1pm-5pm: March, Rally, and More!
8am: Carpools from Medford and Ashland
The DSL announced that the company’s current proposal would be built right through Haynes Inlet Estuary. Under Oregon law, construction can only happen in estuaries for projects that are “for a public use” and that “outweigh harm to navigation, fisheries and recreation.” Instead of denying the permit, DSL has directed the company to propose and evaluate a new route.
Jordan Cove and Pacific Connector Pipeline have had years to provide information to DSL. It is time that DSL denies the Fill and Removal permit once and for all, and protects our communities, our rivers and estuaries, tribal territories, and our climate.
