Rogue Climate was founded in 2013 in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Our mission is to bring communities together to support practical solutions to climate change that will result in cleaner energy, sustainable jobs, and a healthy environment. We promote community conversations and engage people through creative art projects and educational events, making our voices heard on local, state, and national policies.
Our three primary campaigns are to:
- Stop the proposed Jordan Cove LNG Export terminal and the Pacific Connector Pipeline
- Transition communities in the Rogue Valley to clean energy through local clean energy action plans, as well as community solar and energy efficiency campaigns.
- Pass climate policy at the state level that will spur clean energy investment and job creation in rural communities, low income communities, and communities of color in Oregon.
